Watching the weather report for clear skies we found a window to the stars at Crater Lake. Setting up the tripod, with the first exposures at blue hour, we shot pictures for over two hours. Images were taken at 4 minute intervals and then stacked on top of each other. The north star, Polaris, looks like it is the center of the rotating stars. However, we are the ones on this spinning planet called earth and it is us rotating around in a circle.
