Landscape and Nature Images from the Beautiful Columbia River Gorge
The Columbia River Gorge was cut by the Missoula Floods, 1000s of years ago. The floods cut a stunning gorge through the Cascade Mountains, leaving hundreds of waterfalls, scenic overlooks and hiking trails in its wake. The Gorge is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of Oregon, with ample picture taking opportunities. Winters bring snow and ice, spring brings snow melt, rainfall, and new signs of life to the Gorge. Catch wild flowers blooming during the spring and early summer months.
