Blog Report and Photos from the North Oregon Coast: In early July 2018 Vicki and I made a trip to the coast. We drove to Pacific City and then worked our way north over the border to Long Beach, Washington. Stopping along the way to shoot a few photographs and scouting for the sunset and sunrise to come. We had clear and sunny weather the first day.
Day 3, shooting images of the Palouse, started early with a trip to the top of Steptoe Butte for sunrise. Dave Horton and I had a route planned out with a stop later at Palouse River Falls for the sunset and the full moon rising.
Palouse Photography Road Trip Day 2
Day 2 of our trip to the Palouse started off gray and cloudy. We left Colfax before sunrise and drove to Steptoe Butte, but instead of a sunrise it was more of a slow gray increase in light. No images, from Steptoe this morning, were keepers, so we made our way off the butte and began to explore.
