Rivers and Streams
Fine Art Nature and Landscape Images of Rivers and Streams around Oregon
From the Rain Forests of the Coast Range, Olympics and the Cascade Mountains
With the annual rainfall, of up to 200 inches, in the Coast Range Mountains, rivers and streams are in abundance. While some of the rivers and streams, in the Cascades are fed by snow melt and springs, others are fed by rainfall. The annual rainfall and snow melt help keep Oregon green all year long. The Willamette River, alone, drains an area larger than the state of Maryland. The streams and rivers of the rain forests in the Olympics are feed by abundant rainfall and snow melt.
