Thor's Well 2
I made 5 different trips to Thor's Well before I captured this image. Planning for this image included watching for a moderate tide, about a 5-foot swell and less than 10 knots of wind. I was also looking for a minor amount of cloud cover to add color to the sky. Something always kept me from capturing a keeper image previously. Now, I have an image that I am happy with.

Seal Rock Sunset
The fog was socked in tight, and I did not think any good light was going to happen. Then just before sunset the fog lifted, and the sky exploded in vivid colors, which reflected on the beach.

Perpetua Splash
Waves crash upon the basalt rock formations south of Cape Perpetua. The north wind was blowing, so I am glad I had a rain coat for me and the camera, while I captured this image.

This image was taken in late afternoon at Heceta Head. The cliff drops about 200 feet to the ocean here, so it is advisable to stay back from the edge.

Washington Beaches
Washington does not have the same public beach access laws that Oregon does. However, there are still over 1200 access points accounting for 37 percent of the Washington marine shoreline. I hope you enjoy the beautiful images of the Washington Coast

The sun peaked under the clouds before it dropped over the horizon, at North Head Lighthouse. I took the picture just as the light in the lighthouse was pointed my way.
